Stamtec has teamed up with Link Systems to offer the Omnilink 5100-MPC as the standard press control on new Stamtec presses. According to company officials at Stamtec and Link , the new controls will enable Stamtec to provide a higher level of control performance, as well as superior support and service utilizing synergies between the two companies. The Stamtec Omnilink 5100-MPC’s color touch screen displays in English or Spanish all system information (e.g. every input and output, lube system diagnostics, OIT diagnostics, configuration memory, an event log with date, time and reason for the last 256 stops, brake stopping time, clutch engagement time). The control also features job storage; enhanced diagnostics through 64 control inputs, die protection/process monitoring inputs; programmable limit switch outputs; output relays configurable for specific functions related to lube systems, motor controls, hydraulic overloads, flywheel brakes, automation, etc. Stamtec can also retrofit used Stamtec presses with the Omnilink system.
